Big Something – Tumbleweed (2017)

Spencer is on a new album kick. These guys remind me of a Dispatch/Nine Inch Nails/Rush mashup with some sweet, sweet synth licks. It had tons of energy.

This week I was not feeling well. Actually, it’s been coming for a couple of weeks. I think I’ve been working so much it’s literally made me sick. But I’m on the mend now, so that’s good. There have been a couple of times over the last three and a half years where I took a week off to have a vacation. This week I could have and meant to participate, but didn’t. I totally missed it, but here’s what Spencer suggested.

Fictionist – Sleep Machine (2017)

Here is a local band that made good. I shared the stage (or more accurately, I shared a bill) with them once. I have their first two albums and I like them, but haven’t really been following them for a few years.

Reign of Kindo – Play with Fire (2013)

I heard about these guys from either the guitarist from the band Spencer and I were in together or the bassist from the band Spencer’s brother and I were in together. Either way, I turned around and shared it with the other one of them.
