As Good as Gold

For a couple of years, some of my friends and I have been sharing music. We’re supposed to review/rate what gets shared with us then share those reviews with the group, but that doesn’t always happen.

I was going to suggest a different band this week, but Spencer thought it might be nice to do a Tom Petty tribute week. So that’s what we did.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – Nobody’s Children (1995/2015)

Here’s their latest release, although it’s not their latest studio album. It’s disc six (tracks 81-92) from their Playback box set released in 1995, and re-released digitally in 2015. Or maybe the first of the six was released in 1995 and it took 20 years to release the final one. I’m not sure. Still, it’s part of a compilation. Continue reading
